| Contra Costa Times, Jan 20. Page C5 "Index Funds beat most active managers in '04" According to a report from Standard & Poor's Fund managers lagged indexes in 8 of 9 investment categories tracked by S&P. Srikant Dash, S&P's index strategist said there is no consistency to this trend over the short term, but starting at 3-5 year horizons we consistently see indices ahead of managed funds. |
