Bankruptcy is not a good option. You cannot get rid of student
loans that way. In addition, you don't sound like you have a
debt problem at the moment. Your issue is with lack of income,
which bankruptcy does not address.

We would all like to be secure, but that isn't how life
works for most of us. In fact, things are a crap shoot,
sometimes you win, and sometimes it comes up snake-eyes.
In your case, your choice is pretty clear...find something
you can do, or get used to living on your disability income.

Default Financial Aid help!!!

I am now 30 and wondering where my twenties went. I am currently on
disability and can not do the kind of work I did when I was younger.
My last position, I was promoted up several levels due to me be a
workaholic and being at the right place at the right time. I know I
could not get a job like that without finishing at least my undergrad.
I have gotten a few deferments forbearances and I heading in default.
My fiance has suggested bankruptcy, but I am not sure if I could ever
get a student loan again. He is several years older than me and I
want to make sure I am financial secure for my old age..... Does
anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks.
