I think the reason for this is that Vanguard, to its credit, generally avoids offering funds that are ill-suited to individual investors, as opposed to speculators. The Nasdaq index is not as diversified as the Wilshire 5000 and will in general have an inferior risk-reward ratio. The QQQQ ETF tracks the Nasdaq 100 index. |
