Yes, as long as you do not exceed the total for the year between the two
accounts.

Default Roth IRA: Multiple Custodians?

Hi,

Quick question...

Just invested in a Roth, but am not satisfied with the custodian. I am
unable to switch custodians at this time because of fees associated
with my current custodian. In addition, I cannot make an additional
deposit to the IRA at this time because it is invested in a 5-yr CD,
but I would like to put more money away this year. Can I open another
IRA and max out my contributions for the year through that?
Thanks for the help.
