| I am in the process of rolling over my 401k account to an IRA. This is being done because I terminated my employment. The 401k (which consisted of all mutual funds) was liquidated and a check sent to me (in the name of my brokerage). All of this is fine, but one of the funds that was liquidated had a short term redemption fee applied to it of a few hundred dollars. I'm wondering if there is any way to deduct or otherwise declare this on my taxes. I would guess the answer is no, but thought I would ask anyway. |
