Kind of like dollar averaging? put in over time, existing money is reinvested all at once. Even still, dollar cost averaging may be a sub-optimal way to put new money to work--studies have shown that taking the plunge all at once seems to work out best in the long run most of the time. In the long run, it is your money, so do what you feel comfortable with. Since we don't know the future, you will not know the correct answer until you are all done. -john- -- ================================================== ================== John A.
