| I recently opened Privilege Money Market Gold at Charter One Bank. I opened it online and funded the account directly from my existing account online. I am getting 2.5% annualized return. You need a balance of 10,000 to get this rate. This rate is guaranteed till Jan. 2005. Bankrate.com says this bank provides the highest money market rate as of now. | As you know by now, there are NO HIGH MM rates. ING, is currently paying 2.10% on their Savings Account, from which you can transfer money to your local bank overnight.
