| Hello all- I'm completely new to this, but I have a unique situation and a couple of questions so if there is anyone out there who can offer any suggestions - please feel free!!! I am in possession of a certificate of ordinary shares of Cookson Group which is traded in the UK (CKSN). No one appears to be able to help me to convert them to ADR's, so I am looking for a way to easily trade these ordinary shares from the US. Is there an easy way to do this? I have contacted multiple brokers (Fidelity, TDWaterhouse, Harris Direct, etc...) and no one seems to be able to trade these shares for me. How does all this work? Any help out there!? thanks in advance. Marielle |

Those all sound like discount brokers. Have you tried calling> Group which is traded in the UK (CKSN). I haven't looked, but I have to believe places like Merrill-Lynch, etc. can place trades for customers in non-US markets. -- Rich Carreiro rlcarr[at]animato.arlington.ma.us |
