Default Help & Advice, Plz: Sorry if repost, didn't show first time

A friend of mine were applying for life insurance. She never smoked before,
but the result came out nicotine positive. She was not exposed to second
hand smoking. So I am curious here.

She does consume a dried fruit called "beetle nut". That's the only thing
appear more out of ordinary. I can't find information online if it contains
nicotine. Could it be the culprit?

In Vietnam the women chewed beetle nut, a cheap chewing gum-type
material that gave them a small buzz. As I recall it grew wild there.
Also died their teeth and gums red. My bet is that it shows up as a
drug when tested.
