Default Re: How long a trust can last?

I don't know. What does the trust document say? Does your wife have
power of appointment of her trust? Usually what people do is, the
total amount in the wifes trust would get divided in half, with half
going to the daughter's trust and half going to the son's trust.
Generally a trust distributing money to another trust reguarly (not a
one time shot), is not a good idea, but it could be done, I suppose.

You established the trust. That means you signed a document saying
what is going to happen to this money. So the trustee will follow the
instructions as outlined in the trust document. What does the trust
document say. Read it and find the answer, because that is where the
answer is.

Not legal advice.

Default How long a trust can last?

Greetings!I have three trusts one for my son, one for my daughter and
one for my wife. All the trusts have the same conditions. All will
receive incomes from the trusts without disturbing the principal
amount twice a year. Can the trust I made for my wife can continue
after my wife's death and distribute the income to my childrens trust
twice a year? With thanks.
