You may have been able to claim certain tax credits. A credit is
something that you can get even if you owe $0 in taxes, which would
make it possible to get back more than you paid in. Check your
return to make sure that they put in the amount that you paid in
correctly, that you adjusted gross income looks correct, that the
tax due looks correct, and then see where a credit might have been
applied to turn things in your favor.

Default State tax refund more than state tax paid?

I got my W-2 yesterday, so I'm doing my taxes. The "State Income Tax" field on my W-2 says I paid $2128 to the state of Oklahoma (where I live). After filling out the state form on Quicken Turbotax, it says I am due a state refund of $2650. Is it even possible that my state would pay me $522 more than I gave them? I'm hesitant to file until I'm sure about this...I don't want to get audited.

I'm married with a 2 year old son.
