LOL. The one post in three that I didn't expect to show up showed up.![]() Moderation of this forum is outstanding, and our moderators' work is available for public review at http://www.algebra.com/~mifp/ . Posts which are allowed go into the "Approved Messages" directory, and those which are rejected go into "rejected Messages". (Sometime each Sunday night both directories are cleared, however.) For context, Skip had replied to an email I sent asking about a possible "black hole" sucking up my posts. I had made two via Google Groups, and they never showed up in either directory. Part of Skip's reply was: <<Do this: Repost with a test. Just place "test post" in the subject and babble meaninglessly about anything for one sentence. If it shows up I will bounce it back to you. If you hear nothing that means the test did not make it either, and you might query your server to see if there are problems.> So I did. Ed must have gotten to it first. (Maybe I need to learn to babble more incoherently. ![]() -- Rich |

Looks like your post made it. <grin> Try changing the subject. That> something out -- I always check the "email a copy to me" box, and both > missing posts showed up on my Yahoo mailbox. For other posters who have problems with "lost posts", if you hear nothing from the Moderators, sometimes changing the subject key words can make a difference. -HW "Skip" Weldon Columbia, SC |
