Default Re: Conservative Investing?--What is it

It has to do with asset allocation -- the ratio of stocks to bonds. A
portfolio with 20%/80% stocks/bonds is "conservative". A portfolio
with 80%/20% stocks/bonds is more "aggressive".

Stocks are riskier than bonds. A higher percentage of bonds in your
portfolio makes it more stable and less likely to lose value. This is
a simplified explanation. There's plenty of info on the web about this
subject, I suggest you do some homework before investing your savings.

Default Conservative Investing?--What is it

I've heard the term "conservative investor/investing" several times,
not knowing what this means. Does it apply to stocks, bonds,
annuities, CDs, real estate? Or is it more investment strategy? Thanks
