Why on earth would you pay good money that can be put to use elsewhere, or spent and enjoyed while you're alive, why would you want to spend it on policy premiums when there's no one that needs the benefit? |

Those dollars must be left to specific person or entity. Since you seem to have no dependents, there should be no need to provide those dollars at death..................... - quote - > I do have siblings, but I'm not so sure they would even be interested > in having a house willed to them. It would then be sold to the highest bidder (suposedly), to pay off the note with any balance going to your estate. Cal Lester CLU - quote - > Thoughts?

| I had a question regarding life insurance. I am thinking of purchasing a home next year something less than $150k. I am not married and I have no dependents. I know that in the case of my parents, my dad has life insurance to pay off their mortgage in the case of his death. My question is, since I do not have any dependents and I have no wife, do I need to worry about this? If I had a $150,000 mortgage with $125,000 owed and I died, what would happen? I do have siblings, but I'm not so sure they would even be interested in having a house willed to them. That that could be an option I guess. Thoughts? Thanks. -- Mike |
